Equipment
Details about the equipment that can be found in the laboratory.

Triple Quadrupole ICP-MS – Thermo iCAP TQ
This model features a triple quadrupole system, enabling analyses with high selectivity and sensitivity even in the presence of interferences. It is particularly effective for elements such as selenium (Se), vanadium (V), and arsenic (As), using mass-shift modes and reaction gases to eliminate interferences. The system includes a chromatograph for chemical speciation experiments.

Instrument for high-resolution mass accuracy analyses via direct infusion. Recommended for the analysis of ionizable or ionic organic and organometallic substances in solution. It offers a wide mass range and the ability to analyze high molecular weight compounds. High-resolution MS/MS analyses are available. It can also be used for high-resolution analysis of both known and unknown compounds (DDA).
Available ionization sources include ESI and APCI. The working range is 50 to 6000 m/z (calibration provided for the 100 to 2000 m/z range). Coupled to a Thermo Ultimate 3000 liquid chromatography system, compatible only with reversed-phase solvents and volatile additives (ammonium salts up to 10 mM), with a pressure limit of 620 bar and typical flow rates of 0.2 mL/min.
